How long does psychotherapy last?

Cognitive-behavioral therapies are usually short- to medium-term. The duration of psychotherapy varies from case to case, but is generally between 3 and 12 months.

How often do we meet?

The frequency of meetings is once a week at the start of therapy, unless this is impossible for the client or the psychologist or doctoral student. The frequency will be re-evaluated thereafter to adapt to customer needs. It could, for example, be reduced to one meeting every two weeks or every month.

Are fees reimbursable by insurance companies?

Customers with medical and paramedical insurance should check whether psychological services are covered, and whether a doctor’s referral is required by their insurance company.
